PURPOSE: The Parish Lifelong Faith Formation Commission accomplishes its mission of assisting the pastor and staff in providing for the parish’s catechetical and evangelical efforts by: 1)supporting the pastor and the staff in their efforts to provide for the faith formation and the education programs for all members of the parish. 2)assisting the pastor and staff with the identification and training of potential catechists. 3)being vocal in their support of Lifelong Faith Formation. 4)assisting the staff in the planning of the calendar year for Lifelong Faith Formation and monthly GIFT programs. 5)working collaboratively with other parish ministries to ensure an integrated approach to the parish’s catechetical efforts.
