The Council of Catholic Women (CCW)is a nationwide organization comprised of women from parishes throughout the United States.The St. Joe’s CCW is affiliated with the Sauk Deanery, the Madison Diocese CCW and the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW).In other parishes, CCW is also known as the Altar and Guild Society, Altar Sodality or Women’s Circles.
MISSION STATEMENT:The NCCW acts through its membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service.NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.Commissions include:

St. Joseph's CCW is sponsoring its winter card parties on Sundays, February 26 and March 11, at 1 p.m. in the School Cafeteria. 4-Handed Euchre and Bridge will be played. Snacks and refreshments will be served. Entry fee of $2 goes towards prizes and Baraboo Area Food Pantry. St. Joseph's CCW is also accepting baby layette items for the Women's Care Center. Donations needed include diapers, baby wipes, blankets, crib sheets, layette items, books, toiletries, and baby/children’s clothing. Help us celebrate LIFE!
